BIG FIRM LITIGATORS OPEN LILLARD WISE SZYGENDA PLLC TO PROVIDE ELITE REPRESENTATION AT ECONOMICAL RATES
Dallas, TX – November 10, 2009 – Tom Lillard, Bob Wise, and Andy Szygenda have left the international law firm of Hunton & Williams LLP to open Lillard Wise Szygenda PLLC (LWS), a Dallas-based litigation boutique formed to provide elite legal representation at rates responsive to today’s economic climate.
With more than 75 years of experience, 300 trials and arbitrations, and over 50 appeals between them, LWS’s attorneys intend to fill the void for accomplished lawyers who can provide superior legal services at rates that allow clients to base their litigation decisions, not on the cost of litigation, but on business considerations, principal, and disputes’ merits.
“After years of unrelenting rate inflation at large firms, business leaders and individuals are increasingly unwilling to entrust significant disputes to $300 an hour, first- and second- year lawyers supervised by distant $600 an hour partners,” noted Mr. Lillard. “We have created LWS to satisfy the demand for experienced lawyers whose rate structures allow them to personally take an active role in their clients’ matters.
